The Haligi Cultural Art and Animation Program
This program was designed to teach art students how to create art for animation as well as the history of animation and its relation to culture. All students who participated in this program created artwork that was used in Maisa and also received their first professional screen credit. Upon completion of the program students received certificates and tablet devices to aid them in animation and design.

Launching Maisa in Guam
When the project was completed in December 2014 we held over 30 screenings in Guam. The screenings were held in various venues throughout the island for both the public and students which including elementary, middle and high schools. Once our team returned to Hawai'i these videos highlighting the the celebration were edited together for a special screening for the Hawai'i based teams family and friends.
Video Highlights feature a opening chant from the films premiere screening, special messages to the Hawai'i team from Chamorro Studies , and students reactions to the film from the Guam school screenings.
